Brother cool laminators have been produced in two variations, the LX900 and the LX1200. Both of these products have been discontinued by the manufacturer but may still be found for sale online by retailers who have not yet run out of them. The machines were likely discontinued in order to make room for new models of Brother cool laminators, or due to lack of sales. The Brother Company isn’t saying.

It is not known how long the supplies will continue to be made by Brother, so if you already have the LX900 or the LX1200, you may want to consider stocking up on supplies.
Even though it has been discontinued, the Brother cool laminator was very easy to find information about on the internet, unlike some other laminators such as the Emson. Brother is a trusted company, too, so if you have one of their products like the cool laminator, Brother will stand behind it.
